Pics of my friends new Camaro racecar!!

His last racecar was a 67 Camaro. Rehr Morrison 502 and a powerglide. That car ran 8's. He pulled the drivetrain out of it, and put it into this new car.

The old car weighed 2800lbs without him in it. The new car weighes 2200lbs with everything and him in it :eek: The heads are untouched, and the cam isnt very wild either. After a season or two, he's gonna get the heads ported, and put a large cam in it. They say the car will do 7's right now, so it will be down right nasty in a few years.

Oh, and he's never uses a power adder either. Those are NA #'s :)

How much difference would there be between your friend's car and a pro-stock chassis? Doesn't look like much to my eyes.
