Looking to swap in LS1 got?TheYetti 10-09-2002, 06:00 AM i have a 96 v6 auto. i am looking at a 98 LS1 from a guy on the board. the one main question i have is the odometer. i know the ls1 is digital. will they work the same or maybe can i get a digital odo to fit in the 96 cluster? i want to do a ls1 swap and this seems to be the only major setback.also any other things anyone can think of i might run into please let me know. thanks justin driftwood 10-09-2002, 11:23 PM Not sure a bout the gauges,but I am pretty sure your tranny won't work.LS1 has different bell housing pattern than the six banger.Just an added expeniture to consider.
