Besides the rumor that the new Intrepid will be renamed "Charger" there is less information and chance of a 2 door rwd hemi powered dode muscle car. We have more info on a upocoming fith gen.

It's true that a two door is still up in the air.

But here is what we know for sure....

There WILL be a new RWD Chrysler architecture...with a variety cars...in DC showrooms in about a year and a half.

There WILL be a HEMI option on some if not all of these cars.

In contrast what we know for SURE about a 5th gen Camaro is nothing.

I would go for the charger... as long as they got a little wilder on the styling than the GTO

At the risk of sounding like a color commentator...it seems that Dodge may be on to something with the Charger.

Charger is near the top of this poll and no even one knows what it looks like or if it will have two doors or four.

I voted for the 4th gen. To this day, nobody has offered the same bang for the buck, and the 4th gen has been around for 10 model years.

I'd have to wait and see both the Charger and the Mustang. I can say at the moment I'd pick GTO because I've seen and driven a Monaro, even though it was for less than half an hour.

I like the 4th gen, but just remember how dull the Mustang & 3rd gen was 10 years ago after being around for a decade.

The fourth gen is out-dated. I wouldn't want to buy a car, for $30,000, that is made with late 80's/early 90's technology. 10 years for a platform is too long!

GTO!!!!

but if the Charger is like the concept and cheaper with more HP, I might have to go with the Dodge.

Infinity G-35

I want something I can drive every day of the year, not just for 4-6 months. It looks good, handling will be awesome and so will the aftermarket potential.

Either the Mustang or the Charger Daytona... the 5.7 Hemi is a very strong engine but I hope the 6.1 version of it makes it into some version of the Charger...

I said GTO...

But I'd rather have a copy of the Pontiac Concept GT8 (LS1 powered 4-door grand prix with AWD!)

Because honestly, I need something to move stuff/family in, and this Camaro dosent cut it, but a nice plush 4 door Grand Prix would do nicely...

Or an GTX Grand Prix or SSEI Bonneville, or a Hyundai XJ300 even, or perhaps a Nissan Altima The new ones rock.

I'll take a GTO. If the 2-door Charger ever materializes I might be interested in that too.
