http://www.speedshop.org/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=67 99$
http://www.speedshop.org/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=17 119$

are these good prices for these products? are they good?

yes, not really and yes. They have good products and good prices to boot. Their products seem more geared to someone with experience who is building or upgrading a system. Most wholesalers(Dyno Tune) included, do not include the little extras or the fool proof directions.

Thanks for the good words guys!

Captaindbol,
Typically, side by side with the competiton, we shine because we do include the little extras - down to every electrical connection and fitting you may need. Our directions, from feedback we receive, we are told they are top notch. If you see where we can improve let us know we are always trying to do better and feedback is always appreciated! Just to calrify we are not a wholesaler - we are a retailer that sells direct. We aspire to succeed with the direct selling model similar to Dell. We pass along this savings to our customers. Things may change as we continue to grow but this is where we are today!

Thanks again all,
Dean

Dean,

I'm sorry if I may have offended you. What I posted is my (personal opinion) based on the installation of kits from just about every major manufacturer. If you will check you'll see that I am a repeat customer, buying both direct and through ebay. You even went out of your way to make things right when one of my orders was not shiped correctly. I will continue to plug your products whenever the oportunity arises and will consider you again when I need good parts at a great price. If you want some honest feedback, checkout the Edelbrock manual, its the best I've come across yet. From install to tuning to troubleshooting and repair its got everything.

Sincerely,
James Baldwin

I just want to chime in here real quick and give my .02 I have recently purchased a couple of the electronic guages and the switch guage center from Dynotune and have to say they make some of the absolute nicest guages. I'm even more impressed with the customer service I have received from Dan at Dyno-tune. He is top-notch when it comes to service and sales. I have been extremely happy with everything I have purchased from Dyno-tune.

If your reading this Dan, Thanks again. Mike

James,
No offense taken at all. I apoligize if I came across that way. I appreciate your response and your business. I have seen most of the install manuals out there but not the Edelbrock. I will have to check it out.

Mike,
I will pass the good words to my partner Dan!

Danny,
Good luck with the kit - you will love it!

Thanks again guys for the good words!

Is Dynotune thinking of making billet brackets for the 15lb bottle, Dean? :D

Dean77
02-12-2005, 08:09 PM
White Knight,
Our billet brackets will work with the 10# or 15# bottle. They are the same diameter --- just the 15# is longer.

I've been looking for a good, reliable kit to add to my all forged 383... Just looking to add a 100-150 shot... The $399 tag looks pretty nice... Does anyone have any Dyno Results or Track Results with this LT1 150 shot kit... I'm very interested in how it performs...

Thanks guys,

I went from a 13.23 @ 101 to a 12.33 @ 110 on a 100shot. Hoping to crack the 11's with new headers and some cam work. Kit was very easy to install, service was awesome, and the price I couldn't pass up. There is still a couple things I want to get.

ordered my kit today! from the few friends that i know that have the system, they only had good things to say about it. i actually ordered it b4 i read this thread just now, so i figured i would post up.
only one thing i asked myself after i posted my order. i didnt notice a place to 2-3 day air, or normal ground. ill check my email, hopefully they sent me something there to let me know.
here is the only numbers i have from the kit that my friend with ls1 ran. he was running low 13's @108, ran a 100shot (hit it at 70) and ran a 12.7@118. so u can tell he had the power just he was on street radials.
anyway just waiting for my kit now :D

Dyno tune is definatly the place to go for your Nitrous / gauge needs. ;)

I was just there yesterday and place orders for some gauges to get a good read on what my Z is doing and the quality of the gauge kits is great, quality parts and clear instructions.

Dean, does that lt1 system have some kind safety feature for an m6 user if he misses a gear and hits the rev limiter?

P.S. is that what the TPS switch is for?

Dean77
03-01-2005, 05:32 PM
Jason,
For missing a gear I would recommend a MSD window switch. This will turn the nitrous on at a designated RPM but more importantly to your point if you miss a gear it will shut it off at a designated RPM.
The TPS is the Throttle Position Sensor it can be used to activate the nitrous but not what your looking for.

Just installed the DYNO TUNE kit on my 95, tried it out tonight for the 1st time on a 100 shot. One word "AWSOME" , highly recommended kit, easy install. Had to order blowdown tube kit, and purge kit extra. I put together a complete set up with fuel pressure safety switch, fuel pressure gauge, air/ fuel ratio gauge, and filters for under $700
Making my first dyno pulls tommorrow I'll post some results.

Just installed Dynotune's bottle heater a couple days ago and works great! The kit came with everything I needed.

The difference between a 175 shot at 700-800psi and then at 950-1050psi.... WOW! The Kuhmo's don't hook anywhere in 2nd gear and I'm on stock 3.23 gears with LCA's, SFC's, adj tq arm, and an 8 point roll bar... Time for some ET street radials and pray the rear end holds...
