I was wondering what kind of offer I should make to this guy. Is a 95-Z28, 145,000 miles. He says engine was rebuilt and has 30,000. Lt4 heads, cam, and intake, 2000 vette wheels, (bald tires & 1 missing center cap). Faded paint, dents, scratches, nose is spay painted, 411 gears, 6 speed manual, ac works, heat is not hooked up, interior is good. Asking 5000
5000 seems high though for a car needing paint, tires, battery, power window motor, and who knows what else. Any suggestions what i should offer?

you might think M6 is important, but those are a lot of problems to over look...

Well you point out the "asking price" is 5000, you could probably get it for much lower. You know all the things wrong with the car, so confront him with it the lowball him with what you think its worth, If you have cash in hand its all the better if he (or she) is in need of money. Its important to note to try and take charge when you go and buy a car, don't be intimidated if they balk at your offer then just walk away. Rest assured there are many LT1's for sale you don't have to feel locked in to a car with so many problems.

Yeah I bought my my car a 95 z28 with 125k and it needed tires and heat and a few other things and I paid 4000 for it. So if I was you I would offer him like 3900 and I wouldent pay no more than 4400 for it. But thats just my 2 cents. :D
