Hi folks,
The car's paint, though still quite presentable, is now nearing its twenty-first birthday. So, in celebration, I took it to Vision COllision in Haslett Michigan were they are going over the whole car and giving it a repaint.

So far, they have fixed the little bits of surface rust on the underside, and along the corners. They've repaired the battery tray, and given the doors a clean, rust-free bill of health. They've sealed the door skins, and painted the jambs, radiator support, rear deck, and other nooks & crannies.

There's going to be about fifty hours worth of labor just fixing the little stuff, like door dings, creases, little tiny spots of surface rust, etcetera. Then, once they are done doing a few color sandings, they will repaint. Hopefully it'll be back together by February 15th so that I can bring it home, and start the conversion over to 385 cubic inches of FUEL INJECTED ENGINE!

Wish me luck, this is *the year*.
