Ok fellas this post is for my 1989 Ford Mustang LX notchback. The motor blueprinted and balanced by a local machineshop. No corners cut! The motor is a forged 91 block with JE forged pistons and rods,stock cut and balanced crank,heads pressure washed and is .30 over making it 306 ci, It has only 1000 miles since i picked it up over a month ago. Here is a list of mods and info on the vehicle
Forged Pistons
Melling oil pump (<---spelling?)
Motorsport E-303 cam
BBK headers
Mass air meter (73)
Felpro gasket set
new starter
351 windsor heads
new ford motorsport timing chain
ARP bolts
ASP crank pulley
new downs ford tune up kit (8mm wires cap rotor etc)
Walboro 255lph fuel pump
Cobra Clutch kit new
MSD Blaster coil
New distributor
K&N fenderwell cold air
Subframe connectors
new resurfaced flywheel
Now as for the other stuff the car has it has
SN95 Front seats w/electric drivers
Pony wheels
Tremac 3550 t-5 tranny
Pro 5.0 shifter
Flowmaster mufflers
Kenwood CD player
160 speedo
6 piece clear headlamp kit
IT NEEDS OR COULD USE
A 8.8 rear,the car has a 7.5 rear with 373's in it and runs and drives great and was just filled with fluid when the motor was finished. I just wouldn't reccomend keeping the 7.5 if you plan to run the car at the track.
Also not necessary but could use some new paint.The car actually looks pretty good but the previous owner took it to macco and got a cheap paint job where they didnt paint the door jambs or under the hood. It doesnt look bad its just not my taste.
Also sometimes like 1 in every 4 times
4th gear will make a small grind.
Since the new speedo was put in it says the car has 120k miles on it with only 1000 on the new forged block. Im looking to get around 4150 obo or trade for 94 + Z28 or Trans Am for the notch A4 or M6 but must have T-tops. I have pics available i can e-mail right away. Thanks CJ306lx@yahoo.com
