Got the Nitrous Works LT1 wet kit a while back. Installing it next weekend. Would like to run the 125 shot. Motor is stock, only speed mods are cat-back, SLP CAI, TrickFlow Elbow, and BBK TB. No fuel mods yet. Little bit wary of spraying any decent sized shot on the stock fuel system. I've heard 150 wet is safe on a stock LT1, but I just won't do it until I get some better ignition parts, fuel parts, etc. I've got the NGK TR6 plugs to put on when we do the nitrous install, what should they be gapped at? I'm basically just trying to be as cautious as possible. Any ideas, suggestions, etc. are greatly welcome on what I should do. Had an idea to use the 125 shot nitrous jet with the 150 shot fuel jet for a little bit of added safety? Thoughts?

125 should be great if your fuel pump is doing its job. I'd gap the plugs around .035. By all means please don't play with the jetting like that. The factory jet maps are conservative to the rich side of things and if you get caried away you risk cylinder washdown, and or lifting a ring. Use a fuel filter and place it in line BEFORE your hobbs switch. This way if your pump craps out or you hit the rev limiter and cut fuel you don't lean out and scatter parts down the track.

If your running a wet kit I would not worry to much about the fuel system. If you had dry kit then you would have reason to worry.

The jetting was just an idea. I'd seen where some others had tryed different jet configurations and it made me wonder. The jets will be left the way Nitrous Works says for them to be. I believe I'm about to order an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for a little more control in tuning. Just trying to be as safe as possible with what I can afford at the moment. I won't be spraying often for now and will have all the goodies needed when I am. Thanks for the help.
