Are there any better headlights I can get for my car? I can't see SQUAT at night with my 97 and since they cost $25 a pop I might aswell get the most for my money.

Also what about the Fog Lights? I wanted to replace those aswell with a better brand. Are there any that don't look rice as in give off a yellowish hue?

Those were Foglights right? for $68? How good are they in the aftermarket world? I wanted to see if I could get something with just a TAD of a yellowish tent, nothing too deep but not too white either.

Also what about headlights? Would I need to replace the entire headlight unit or can I just replace the bulb?... What are some good headlamps for my car?

I just got the sylvania silverstar part 4666ST, they are quite an improvment over stock POS lights, i am upgrading my fog lights to these bulbs soon also, and our cars have sealed beam so No you can not just get the bulb...

Okay, So Silverstar sells the whole unit? For the Fog Lights you just buy a bulb don't you?

Search for H4666 Conversion Kit. Install that and you can choose any bulb you want (with proper ratings).

Find Hella FF75 Driving lights on Ebay. The seller I got mine from was offroad911 or something close to that. Brand new, whole units, bulbs and wiring kit inlcuded for 37.99 shipped a pair. Install was a breeze and provides much better lighting. I went this route after one of my low beams went out. Much better than just upgrading bulbs in the stock housing. I would rate the Hella FF75's 9.9/10 off .1 because salt cracked my lenses on two. THEY SHOULD be shatter proof, but I guess I cant really complain for the good price. The hue on the hella's a just a bit whiter than stock. Try the FF50 or FF75 fog lights to replace your fogs.

I was talking about the Firebirds, as in the previous post. Since Camaro bulbs are already changable, there is no reason for a convertion kit...unless of course you're switching to a hotter or different style bulb.

I guess I'll try to put on together tonight, although it wont have pics till later. Although one of my disclaimers will be that 6 year olds should not be operating drills or working with electrical materials.

Hopefull I can get it hosted somewhere...

To the original poster -
•You can't buy a Silverstar housing for the Camaro.
•You can buy a piece of crap AutoOptiks housing that doesn't work good, but allows you to change bulbs.
•You can get the Hella FF75's for headlights that most people like very well.
•You can get the Hella 90mm round projectors for headlights that most people like very well.
•You can remove the old bulbs in your stock housings and replace them by siliconing some new ones in with about 5% improvement maybe.
•You can find out how to do all of this by using the Search feature, or just by reading some of the topics on the first 3 pages in this section.

(P.S. In case you are wondering why you haven't gotten any real good strait forward answers, it is probably because this is talked about at least once a day, and the people that know just get tired of reposting).

94BlackBowtie -- Well said! Thanks for saving me all that typing.

To All FYI -- 93-97 Camaros use H4351 low and H4352 high sealed beams. Not available in these sizes in SilverStars. The H4666 will not fit.

Hella 90mm lights are DOT legal for headlights, FF75 are not but work well ;)
