Have any of you ever seen a hidden nitrous system on an LT1? Is it even possible? If so, how would you go about such a thing?
Maybe this is a stupid idea, but would it be possible to have a small seperate fuel cell with high octane race fuel that you could switch over to for use with nitrous on the street. Like could you flip a switch and now be pulling fuel from a seperate tank? Maybe I'm just way out in left field here, but I thought I'd ask around.

it is not hidden but i have a seperate fuel cell for the fuel side of the nitous. it only runs the spraying nitrous.

Dude, how did you do it? Do you have any pics? How is it controlled? Do you know where there are any info sources that I could check out? Any books/websites or anything?

I have a 1 gallon fuel cell where the batt used to be with fuel pump and a bypass style regulator. the fuel line goes to the fuel noid for the nitrous. the pump comes on when it is armed and the fuel sprays when the nitrous does. this is not my car but here is a link. http://www.derty.org/photogallery/categories.php?cat_id=19

How about something like this? :D
N20 Bottle under car (http://juddidiah.com/92/Bottle_Installed.jpg)
Solenoids under an ASR cover, and braided lines under wire loom. :p

You could totally hide the system with an NOS throttle body w/intergrated jets. Mine, as of now, has the nozzle appearant. The high octane fuel coming from a seperate source could be a pain, but I've seen crazier things done. :)

If it's a wet system it would already have a seperate fuel solenoid wouldn't it? If so it wouldn't be too much hassle to route the fuel line to the solenoid from a seperate tank would it? Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's doable. You could probably even hide a seperate tank somewhere. That under the car nitrous bottle is an interesting idea. I think I'm gonna try and find a different place than the spare tire well to mount the bottle because that seems pretty standard for a hidden system and it could very easily be discovered. Just another stupid thought, anyone ever considered a direct-port system hidden by a fuel rail cover? Maybe not even possible, but I'm just brainstorming at this point. Wow, so many variables!!

We've installed a hidden system with the exception of the fuel coming off the schrader...if you cover it in loom tubing and route it under the other wiring on the intake it blends right in. The solenoids went down near the radiator and came up the intake dong, switches in the ashtray, etc.

Where else do you plan to mount the bottle?? There really isn't anywhere else to hide it.
Mold it into the hump and cover it with carpet? With a little carpet flap to get it out for refilling.<<<idea already patented... don't try to take it....lol

Trust me, I already have an idea stewing. You know the spare tire well isn't the absolute only place that you can hide a nitrous bottle. All it takes is a little imagination... and a little fabrication.

We have done lots of Hidden systems,
We also offer a hidden ssytem that plumbs in the intake. Some guys use this system that races in classes that do not allow nitrous or hustleling on the street. Its is referred to is as our cheater system.
