N2O with Vortec elbow?

I just got this part and it doesnt look like it will work. there is a divider that looks like it will interfere with the pattern. Anyone else try it?

I've seen a few people on here that use it and claim the divider doesn't affect anything. You could cut it out. I went with the Trickflow elbow. It has no divider. :)

I didn't feel comfortable putting my alky injection nozzle in the Vortech elbow until I cut the divider out. I wouldnt put a nitrous nozzle in either, without removing the divider, no matter how many other people had done it w/ the divider intact.

If the vortech elbow is something you received new, I'd return or exchange it and get the Trickflow, as mentioned by Derrick.

Just cut the divider out. Thats what I did and then tapped it for NOS. Good luck bro

my good friend my95T/a didn't cut the divider at first and melted a couple of #2 plugs because the nitrous wasn't getting distributed evenly. After he cut it out no more problems. I would definately cut it out

I was thinking of putting together a custom system similar to the TNT plate kit only with the two nozzles on both sides of the vortec elbow. Any thoughts on this?

I would say that would be a much better option. Depending on how big of a shot you spray, I don't know if I would trust the dual nossles above a 250 shot though.

That would work just fine and would allow you to spray 200+. If you're not planning on spraying that much, a single nozzle with no divider would be much cheaper, cleaner, and work just as well.

The elbow looks killer is why I chose it over the TFS. What tools are you using to remove the divider? It is a pretty stout piece of aluminum. A dremmel doesnt seem like it would be strong enough. Also I checked on spraying both sides and you divide both sides by total power. I figured by the time you spent the extra cash for the nossle and lines and jets it would be high. Thanks

my friend cut his out with a mini air saw, it wasn't the easiest thing to do but it was necessary. I would saw cut it out any way you can. Good luck

I am wanting to start at 150 and go to 200. I like the idea of nozzles on both sides for even distribution, but I think the TNT kit places the nozzles to close so that the front cylinders (1/3 and 2/4) have a harder time getting a good gulp of the juice.

That divider isnt all the way through that elbow.. It starts about part way. you could just put it before the divider.
