I am having problems with my brake lights and was wondering if anyone could help. My problem is that my SS spoiler is the only one that DOES work, the tailights dont. At first I thought brakelight switch but then thought it couldnt be that if the spoiler brakelight works, cause none should work if it was the switch. Could it be the switch, or something else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bulbs? Is the light on the spoiler wired to the tailights? If not I would check for a short on the taillights.

yeah I replaced the bulbs, and I am pretty sure the tailights are wired with the spoiler also.

The brake lights go through the turn signal switch , the easiest way to check it without five pages of electrical diagnostics , is to buy or borrow a t-signal switch and plug it in under the dash and see if it works then , if so , then you've found the problem !! ( it's usually the culprit ) :) :)

Theres a thin long connector under the steering column, its about 3-4 inches wide. Thats some of the brake lite connectors, it sometimes rattles loose a bit. Try plugging it up some more I had to take a zip tie and tie around it to make sure it wouldnt rattle loose again.

I messed with a black connector that was about that wide and like a half inch thick and it fixed the problem.
Thanks guys for the help. :cz28:
