I have been wodering myself...

I have a few securtiy camera mounts I snagged from work when we redid our camera system(adjustable 2in-6in poll with like a 360* swivel mount that with a camera fitting on it)

Holy **** I just had the brainstorm of the century...

Maybe we can run a bar or soemthing across the back maybe have it bolt onto the T-top recevibers, or even the 2 screws for the trim piece.

Like have 2 metal strips from like home depot attach them there, then run a bar, or 2x4 or something along the back and have the camera mounted on that.

If it hits the back of your head, have it go back a little, then have a pole come out form the middle and go forward and have the camara mounted next to you.

hmm... amazing the new ideas you get after you cut t-tops into your car :)

There's an outfit called i/oPort that makes a camera mount for a roll bar. RK Sport sells it, but like everything RK Sport sells, they jack the price up..... $110:

I got it from Pegasus Racing for $100. Probably even lower other places:

no roll bar here :(....at work i was thinking, what about a bar that connects to the head rest bars in the seats?...you could have a cradle welded or bolted on to the middle of the bar... ::workin on some badass MS paint:: :D

I bought the original one, I really like it. You can put it anywhere you can stick suction cups, I did a test video and hung it from my t-tops, and from right next to the passenger side front wheel. Very stable too.
