suggestions needed on 383; blower newbie

I just finished building a 383 for street and occasional strip use and was planning on running it N/A with the GM847 and maybe a small shot of N20. Well things changed yesterday when I did some calculations and figured I had something wrong, my compression with the setup below is 10.3:1, far off the 11.3-11.5:1 I originally intended to have. Turns out the pistons had more of a dish then I was told they have (18cc). So here's what I have:

382 LT1
splayed mains, deck cut .005", line bore and hone, 4" bore
4340 crank and rods, 3.8" stroke, 4" bore pistons (KB hypers for the 3.8 stroke)
LE LT1 heads, 275/200 cfm
comp 977 springs, 1.6 promags, comp R's, etc...
pacesetter LT headers and borla catback
Impala ss headgaskets
crane hi-6R with timing retard control

I was thinking since I didn't buy a cam yet, that I could get away with a slightly smaller cam on a 114 LSA to accomodate boost, and later as I get more money buy a blower and run 6 psi intercooled into it...

How much power am I going to loose running N/A with that low of compression? I'm hoping to still make at least 400RWHP.
How much power should i gain after the blower?
Any cam choice suggestions? This is also my first 383 and I dont want a cam so big I overspeed the blower.

If I cant do it feasibly, I might mill the heads down a little more and go to a .015" head gasket to raise the compression and run the 847...not that I want to. Only other option is to get another set of pistons and balance them to my 383's specs and replace them...not something I want to do either.

Run the 847 and nitrous. 10.3:1 compression and boost is not a good idea with hypereutectic pistons and pump gas.

I spoke to Combo motorsports today and we agreed that the 10.3:1 with 93 octane in a 383 should be no big deal as long as I limit boost to 6 psi(intercooled), like I would on a stock motor. I'll start out with a N/A tune and run it like that, hoping to get around 390 RWHP, and add boost and bigger injectors when I'm ready. I'm going to step down in cam a little to a custom one, something around a 233/239 on a 114 LSA with 30# SVO's, then I'll get my 12 bolt first. Anybody forsee any problems with this?

Stock LT1 pistons are hypers too...as long as I control detonation, I should have no problems. I would prefer forgings, but gotta work with what I have.

The "weak link" to your combination is going to be the hypereutectic pistons. Just a sugestion, but forged parts are ALWAYS recommended, especially with any type of "power adder". Unfortunately boost or for that matter N2O is very addictive and you will want to go with more as you become complacent with what you have. I'm sure you are not looking to spend any more money on something you already have, but now would be the time. Forged pistons are realitivley cheap insurance for any modifications you might consider in the future. Consider this: the main reason for engine failure when running any amount of boost is the stock hypereutectic piston. Also, replacing injectors with a larger size will almost be necessary just running a 383 N/A. Just some things to consider.

Sell the KB pistons. Only run forged.

Go get the forged pistons, we all found out the hard way.....

You're going to need more than 30# injectors.

I was only planning on using the 30# SVO's N/A. I would go to 42#ers S/C. I'm still working out the compression issue, and I'm going to get with my machinist to find the weight of the piston and pin tomorrow to see if I can get a close replacement and weight match them.
