I am hoping for 700rwhp/650rwtq @15psi on 93 Octane with my 383LT1 and T76 combo. I have a FMIC and alky setup. I havent decided on what to do about the headers (either home made or PTK hotparts). I have fully ported AFR210's that flow strong all the way up to .700".

.........Intake.......Exhaust (no pipe)
.200...143............103
.300...204............141
.400...247............173
.500...281............198
.600...308............219
.700...311............227

I told Cam Motion I wanted max hp, but still pas emissions. Here is what they came up with:

223/217 .540/.542 116+4

Seems a bit small doesnt it? Especially on the lift considering my heads flow pretty good. What do you guys think, and what kind of power did you guys make with your cam/setups?

Just guessing, but I imagine when they heard the phrase "still pas emissions" the phrase "max hp" went out the window.

BTW what FMIC will you be running?

Well, I mentioned I wanted max hp and still pass emissions all together, not just max hp in general. I question the size because I have a S/C cam from Bret Bauer that he says will pass emissions and it is quite large in duration and lift compared to this cam. Infact, Bret says its should make 40hp more than the small 214/224 S/C cam according to his engine sim. software. Now that i am going to a turbo, I am looking for a good cam as well. I now with power adders you rely on the boost to make the power, but i was hoping that they could come up with a good cam that make make more power than the avergae cams everyone else is using. regardless, why wouldnt they utiliz more lift??

As far as FMIC, I bought an OBX off ebay.

It's enough duration for sure, but that wide lsa will leave some power on the table.

Fwiw, I had a 218/218 114lsa 112icl (which made around 1k crank hp), and I'm changing to a 221/221 112lsa 110icl (which will make over 1k crank hp).

We have a GT76 powered LS1 6-speed car with stock displacement, and a 225/225 113lsa, 111icl cam that made 844rwhp with 17lbs of boost.

Thanks for posting info. What kind of lift did your cams have? I should still be able to pass emissions by changing the LSA from from 116 to 114 right??? Also, any guess on where peak hp will be if i move it to 114LSA? Perhaps cam motion went conservative because i mentioned emissions. I was looking at comp cams lobe library and was thinking about these:

XE 224/224 .605/.605 114
CC 224/224 .560/.560 114
CC 224/220 .560/.544 114
