Well I got Hal adjustable shocks for the rear of my car and I noticed that it doesn’t have the bolt that mounts them to the rear. What kind of bolts do I need?? Where do I get them??
Thanks,
Erick

Here's a good installation link that includes bolt and nut sizes:

The bolts that I included in that writeup were 2-1/2". If you could find a 2-3/4" bolt it would probably be better. If you look at this pic, the bolt is about one thread short "inside" the nut. A longer bolt would allow the bolt to extend out of the nut.

Another thing to keep in mind, discovered since I wrote the install procedure..... if you have a Spohn Race Version rear sway bar (and I suspect the BMR as well), the shock adjuster know needs to be placed facing the outside of the vehicle, rather than the inside.

i used the ones from the decarbons. they are the same dimentions and i had only about 15k miles on them since new on the last install. you can reuse the stockers if they are in decent shape and they fit snug, or you can go to tbyrne and get a set of bolts/nuts for 17 bucks

Great write-up.
Thunder Racing sells a grade 8 bolt kit with nuts and washers for the rear shocks - 99-HAL-HW for $10.00 (kit includes both right and left sets). You can get them cheaper by sourcing them yourself using the info Injuneer provided, but I had couple of exta bucks and it was easy to just add them to the order when I bought the rear Hals...
