What is this called?

Yesterday either they unscrewed themselves and flew away, or someone stole my gas cap as well as the plastic piece that goes around it. I got a new locking gas cap from autozone, but I can't seem to find the plastic piece. Does anyone know what this is called, and about how much do you think it'll be? Thanks in advance.

If you went into an auto supply store, wouldn't you tell them what year and kind of car you had? Impossible to look up parts without that info.

10429538 is the p/n I find for the fuel tank filer pipe housing, but I don't know if the number is still good (might have been changed). It does not come up when I look for it at gmpartsdirect. The two screws (GM PART # 11515893) come up, though. :)

Ok, I'm now with everyone else on here: You totally kick ass. How would I go about getting this? Think I can just call the dealership?

Watch out for GM Parts Direct. They rape you on shipping.
you'll probably charge you 20 buck to ship it :D

I would call a dealer to check if that p/n is any good. You could also get off pretty cheap by picking one up from a salvage yard.

I've never had anything cost me more than $8 to ship. Everything has always been way cheaper than any dealer in my area, even when shipping is included. Just my $0.02
