autozone filter

My k&N filter is practicly dead. too many miles. if i use a regular cone filter from autozone will it affect performance?

Not in the slightest. Will perform the exact same way.

yeah tought so.. just makes you feel better to hear it from other people.

i bought a cone filter from autozone and it seperated from the chrome base without me knowing and sucked trash into my engine.

and my k&N magically unconnects itself no matter how tight i clamp that damn hose clamp and i end up driving with the filter on there for few days- :mad:
