our 1998 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 black was stolen out of my driveway between 8pm and 930 pm tonight, december 27th 2004. these were pros. no glass, no sign, no sound. its driverside headlight is out. it also has a dent in the passenger side of the tailgate. the license plate is 6car23. if neone has seen this vehicle please report it to me or the warren police department. this is serious.

What are the odds on that.......... My aunt and uncles Jeep Cherokee was stolen in Warren last week too, and from Warren.

They found it a few days later in fair condition.

I cannot reveal my sources of where I get my Jeep's speed parts, however I better start locking my car doors now that the word is out! ;)

whoevers doin it around here is either using the good old hammer and a flat head trick, or chisel. or a jimmy to get in the vehicles. no broken glass. and they stick with DC products. which leads me to belive its teh going trhough the gap in the handle and hte door to hit hte lock with the hammer and flat head, then using the same tools to pop ignition. so its an amature in a way. but i think ours was stolen for transportation, unless its one person doing them all. cuz it was a one person job i feel ours gettings tolen that is. droped a vehicle off took ours. sounds like one person and there were no tracks in the snow from the other side of the drop vehicle forsomeone to have exited.

My cousins fiance's Avenger just got stolen from 8/Gratiot. He heard it start up and pull down the driveway at 2am...went and grabbed his .40 and ran out the door and got in his van... the van had snow on the windshield so he was driving with his head out the driver window chasing the guy down 8 mile, then a warren cop pulled him over... when he explained what happened the cop told him to go back home and let the police handle it. Well by that time the guy was long gone. Still haven't found the car.. :(

like i said all these dodge cars are getting stolen left and right, reason why im getting a few switches installed.

also the reason im not buying another DC vehicle. stricly GM screw the employee discount i get for DC, id rather use the family plan discount from GM, pressure sensitive ignitions/keys, = hardly stolen. reason Fbodies arent disapearing left and right.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I was trying to find out. I believe it was in the area of 12 mile and Schoenherr Rd. As far as I know nothing was stripped off the car. Just the ignition lock was busted out and a little damage to the interior. I am not sure where they found the car at?

Good luck getting yours back. I know it sucks. I had one of my cars stolen. It was an 89 GTA and it ended up all stripped out.

I hope they find yours in one piece.
