Sound deadening material

Does anybody know of a good, cheap sound deadening material I can use? I foolishly pulled mine out one afternoon when I was looking for something to do, and now I'm worried about going deaf from the exhaust. Would carpet padding do anything? How about like dynomat or some of that paint on stuff. I'm mainly looking for cheap.

i've found some on e-bay that i am really happy with. it is 60 mils thick and is sticky on one side so it is self adhesive. really cheap too. good luck

3M ruberized undercoating, costs like $5/can from walmart... just don't get it on anything that you don't want it on, it doesn't come off.

b-quiet makes a deadening material better than dynamat for less money. If it works with lots of bass it'll work with exhaust.
