LS1 brake upgrade

When you do the LS1 brake upgrade to a 96 WS6 can I use my stock brake lines or do I have to get the LS1 brake lines so everything fits right? I have the Earl's stainless lines right now on my fronts, can I use those on the LS1 upgrade ? The reason I ask this question is I've noticed some people saying they have issues with the LT1 lines fitting the LS1 setup. I want it to look stock when I'm finished, kinda plug & play. Thanks for any help

Thanks 5.0 THIS, I read that earlier and was trying to find a solution without having to bend any my brake lines? If I do have to bend the break line what is the safest way to accomplish that without kinking anything.

there are tools for bending small tubing like brake lines. they only cost a few bucks at autozone. one of those might work.

Thanks for the input, so should I keep my LT1 brake lines or get the LS1 brake lines and bend those. Which set will take less work to fit right on my Wilwood brake kit.

5.0 THIS, how much did you gain (rwhp/rwtq) when you did your PCM tuning. I'm just curious because I had mine PCM tuned and wondered how it compared to your tuning.

I went from 291rwhp/328rwtq to 309rwhp/339rwtq. On mine, we dynoed the car once after tuning when it was real hot. At 200 degree coolant temps, it only lost ~3hp, whereas on the stock tune the difference was much greater. Mine was tuned on a dyno, with tunercat hooked up, a scanner, and a wideband O2 as well. I dont have all the bolt ons BTW.... and I run through a cat.
