LT1 Edit

Ok will someone explain what this LT1 edit is? How much is it? And what do a need to use it besides a laptop?

It is a program that allows you to read and reprogram the flash chips in a 4th gen PCM. IOW, it is tuning software. You don't need a laptop. Before I had a laptop I lugged a desktop out to the garage for programming and we use it on a desktop PC at the shop all the time. Obviously, a laptop is quite convenient. Go to www.carputing.com to find out more. Besides the software, you need a cable to link the PC with your cars ALDL connector.

Look into Tunercat also since you have a 94..
It's cheaper and not VIN locked to one car..
