Total BC tax for gasoline looks to be 14.5 cents to 20.5 cents/litre. Don't forget we get charged GST on top of those figures too. :barf:
Translink is too expensive!

The people that don't drive have to pay for highway construction, so it all works out in the end. :)

The revolting thing is that we get charged GST on the 14.5 to 20.5 cents gas tax as well as the price of the gas as well as the federal gas tax (10 cents/litre)
Oh well. Could be worse. In Quebec when you buy anything, you don't pay GST and PST on the good. Nooooo, you pay GST and then you pay PST on top of that. What a scam.

Although fuel seems expensive here Europe's fuel is twice the price. The US is still a little cheaper especially with the exchange rate. The way I see it 50 bucks worth of fuel equals lots of fun in a nice ride. :D

It would work out if we had some decent Highways, i wouldn't consider anything around here a highway :p I think we have the worse design as far as roads go.......there is so many simple solutions yet they waste time on useless projects that just make it worst.....

even though some of our highways are clogged, our traffic (and parking!) here is wonderful compared to most big american cities... Toronto in rush hour is an absolute gong show even with the 8 lane highways!
