Trust me on this go with the factrory brake pads you will thank me in the long run most aftermarket pads squeak once you put a few hard brakings on them. Pay the higher price for the factory oem parts. Im a GM mechanic and run only oem parts even on my work truck.

IMO the brake's on the 2000 camaro S U C K !!! I trashed my stock rotors & got drilled & sloted w/hawk pads, a much better set up then the stock.

It's not the stock pads that suck, just the rotors. For a daily driver where minimum dust and noise are important, I think you'll find the stock GM pads to be more than capable.
The grippier the pad, the more often you'll encounter noise and dust. That's just friction at work.
Further, having those drilled rotors wasn't the difference, just having non-OEM rotors period was the difference.

I have been running the EBC Green Stuff pads for the last three years. I went with these because I heard the Hawks dusted badly. When I attended Bragg-Smith two years ago and drove a new LS1 SS I was surprised, IMHO, that my LT1 brakes felt better than the LS1 brakes. I am upgrading to ZO6 brakes in a month or two and will use them again.

Hawk just came out with a high performance Ceramic compund pad for our cars. They are no more expensive than their HPS pads.

I have the Hawk HPS pads and I can't imagine a better stopping pad. They do dust a bunch but no noise at all. I may give up a little stopping force for less dust but the Hawks are a huge improvement over the stock pads.
