hey big bothers

i ran a few searchs but didn't really find what i was looking for.....

i have a V6 that my main goal is to put into the 10's a 10.99 is all i want keeping the car as close tothe stock wieght as i can.

now i have T-70 turbo kit to put on and my motor is fully built and I want to biuld the fuel system to handle ~600 RWHP (most liky never see that but who knows the INTENSE car is ready to break in to the 9's lol)
www.turbov6camaro.com/mod.html <<< full mod list

i have the racetronix 57# hour injectors (got them long time ago before they supported this board)

is there a inline i can put in to support this with out having to get into the fule tank

I know intank is way better
so what one should get? if i go this route?
i found a buch of them not sure what one is best, do any make our fuel tanks smaller? (only 15.5 in my 1997 to start lol)

thanks for all your info...

ehh racetronix do your kits work for the V6? i don't see why they wouldn't.... thanks

To support the power, you're still going to need to do something about the stock pump. An inline pump in conjunction with the stocker is not the way to go if you're looking for serious power and performance. The racetronix setup will work fine on the V6 car, and will at most require very minor modification to work, but i doubt it would need anything at all. With the fuel pump access door mod, getting at the pump is very easy. Including cutting the door out, and making a sheetmetal cover, my pump install took me all of 2 1/2 hours.

If you can get ahold of a dremel tool, it's easy to control the depth of the cut. I did barely nick a wire though, but they're really the only things sticking up above the tank, and it's an easy fix. Both times i had to go into the tank (my first walbro was defective), i had a 3/4 full tank. You really don't have to worry about anything catching fire as long as you take the necessary precautions. The biggest thing you have to worry about is contaminating the tank.

If you want 600rwhp capability, you'll need more than 6 57 pounders. Some rough math says they'll support ~625hp at the flywheel, at 100% duty cycle. So maybe 500rwhp with luck, less with a more appropriate duty cycle like 80%. You'll need to step up to a low impedance injector, with a converter box. I doubt the stock PCM in your 6 can be made to work with low Z injectors, even if you have tuning software.

And as far as I'm aware, you'll need an entire new sending unit, but someone might know a way to repair what you have.

one car has 670 crank HP with these injectors....... i can always upgrade them later only take like 30mins to a hour to do it... the tranny and the rear will give way befroe i run out of fuel lol

i havn't seen any low Z drivers for the V6 i think the Intense guys are working on one tho

the racetronix kit IS an in-tank pump. a 255lph high volume/high pressure walbro with a custom harness.

A little bit more than a custom harness!

LJ's impedance converter will work with a V6.

http://www.acceleronics.com/versafueler.htm

A quote from their webpage: The VersaFueler TM works on any modern, fuel injected car, import or domestic, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, or even 16 cylinders.

Problem solved...
