1995 camaro

ok, here is whats wrong with my car. any help would be greatly appreciated. my car overheats and when it does, it blows cold air. it only does this in the winter and only sometimes. the thermostat, radiator, heater core, hoses, belt tensioner and water pump are all new. it looks like it leaks brown water from the engine block sometimes, but not all the time. it tends to flucuate while im driving, sometimes getting overheated and then for no apparent reason cooling back down. if you have any ideas as to what it could be that has been bugging my car for the past year, please let me know by emailing me or calling me at 1-330-339-6875. maksdad44663@yahoo.com

well it could be the freeze plugs on the engine also bleed the air out of the line check the passengerside floor if its wet you need a heater core there a bitch to replace

passenger side floor is not wet. ive been bleeding the air, but it only works for a few minutes then it goes back to overheating. how would i know if the problem is the freeze plugs. where are they located and are they easily viewable?

its easy if you let your car run look under it if you see fluid pouring out from some where then ita likely a freeze plug so bleeding air worked for a littl w bit make sure theres nothing infrom of the radiator like a plastic bag or something ...if none of that woorks then id assume its the heatercore

i found a spot right between the alternator and water pump that has fluid coming out of it. it doesnt come out all the time, just sometimes when i rev the car. it looks like its a crack in the block. how likely is that? the car still runs and everything appears to be ok although my "check engine" light comes on when i drive in overdrive. im not sure if the 2 things are related though. could the heater core be blocked only sometimes?

Sounds like your leak could be coming from a bad gasket between your block and cylinder head or your lower intake manifold. The gasket could be bad between the coolant passages and the edge of the block, heads or intake. There is also a short coolant hose between two pipes right in front of the passenger side cylinder head. Check the clamps and hose at that point.
