I am looking of selling or trading my 1993 Dodge Dakota Regular Cab 2 wheel drive V8. It has brand new Blue paint (still neeeds wetsanded and buffed). It has a 68 Hemi Cuda scoop and a fiberglass AAR front bumper. It also has a molded in steel roll pan with tailgate handle relocated to the inside and hole filled in. Body of this truck is in awesome shape. It has 16" wheels with 245.50.16 tires. I also have added a custom "Super Dak" stripe to the rear of the truck that was painted on in black similar to the old mopar stripes. I bought this truck about 5 months ago and have completely redone the body and paint. I have an great shape interior to install (including new Mopar carpet) that needs installed. I was going to wait until spring to install it. The stock worn interior is still in the truck and complete. The truck itself has about 160K miles but the engine has around 80K miles on it. It is stock other than Mopar Performance Valve Covers, Mopar Performance Computer, custom dual exhaust and some other minor mods. The truck runs great, but needs the brakes blead to drive it. I drove it about 6 miles into storage, but the brakes were low. I replaced the pads, shoes and wheel cylinders, just did not have time to give them a good bleed before it went to the body shop for the paint job. It also has a rebuilt automatic transmission with a shift kit and a 3.55 suregrip rear end. I bought new headlights and taillights along with clear front corners. This is one of the baddest Dakota's out there.
This is an extremely rare truck being a regular cab 2 wheel drive with the V8 engine. I am going to list it as a "project" although all the body work and paint are pretty much done. It needs the brakes bled, interior swapped out (again, it is included) and some minor work (neutral safety switch I think), but this truck has loads of potential. The truck ran high 14's and low 15 sec 1/4 miles before the computer and trans rebuild and shift kit. The truck has a clear title and is presently in storage. I am asking around $4K for it or trade for a 85-90 Iroc or 91-92 Z28. May consider others, but those are what I am really looking for. Please email if you are interested or have any questions. I am located in Central Ohio and would prefer something close. I would tow the truck with the brakes this low, but that is your choice. I have only driven it around 10 miles since I got it and it is a healthy truck. Clear Ohio Title.
