Green97SS 12-09-2004, 02:51 PM Xmas special!!! ONLY $6,900, that's right, FIRST $6,900 DRIVES IT HOME!
I can't believe I'm offering it that low but I know it's not the season for F-bodies so I'm willing to take a hit.
This is my last attempt to sell it before spring. Walk in sale only, I don't want to deal with shipping.
97 Camaro SS, polo green metalic with tan leather, 6 speed, T-tops, 89,8xx on the clock. Runs very strong, good oil preassure, no leaks, t-tops don't leak, 17" wheels wrapped with Kuhmo tires with plenty of tread left.
Just changed the plugs, fuel filter, new fuel injectors, flushed the cooling system. Car is stock with the exception of 4.10 rear gears.
I have a copy of clean carfax from when I was buying the car and a copy of GM VIS sheet with vehicle build info and warranty repair history. Title is clean and in my posession so we can close the deal on the spot.
Come and check it out, you'll not be dissapointed.
Car is located in New City (Rockland County), NY 10956
Pictures are at http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/724541
Wrayth 12-09-2004, 03:08 PM Really to bad your not willing to ship, this is a car I'd be really interested in, just out of curiosity, what kind of mileage are you getting?

Well it looks totally different in person, I wasn't crazy about green either but this is actually deep green, kind of two tone, looks really dark and actually I think it makes a nce combo with tan leather.
My favorite is pewter metalic or silver trans am, those look great, but you can't really choose when you're buying a used card that has everything else you need, the color is tha last thing.
Donohue96M6Z28 12-09-2004, 11:00 PM i think the dark metallic green is clean, i used to have that same color on one of my z28's, i hated it at first but got many compliments and quickly began to love the color,

etz2001sn 12-10-2004, 03:14 AM if i didnt have my formula, id be all over that, if your trying to sell that thing to some purest that loves bone stock cars, just dont say its got 4 10s, that scares some people into thinking you beat the snot out of it. My formula is that GREEN color, and i think it looks damn good on formulas( mine has black leather interior).
bunker 12-10-2004, 03:44 AM Actually when I had my 93 Trans AM it was Forest Green with tan leather, all the chicks and non f-body guys LOVED the color, its the F-body guys that would tell me "green?" but the whole world loved it.
Now I have a black TA with black leather, all the f-body guys love it but noone compliments it outside of the club :(

Hey, that would be great, thanks. Rockland county is just above New Jersey on the eeast side of NY.
etz2001sn, about the 4.10 concern, I don't want to hide anything, I want to represent the car as accurately as possible so that there are no surprises. That's what I would expect from others. I think that 4.10's went on when the car had warranty rear end job done (seen on carfax). I definitely didn't beat on it, put maybe 2k on her this year.

I am the proud new owner! I replaced my recently barrel-rolled Z28 with this SS, and it's very cool! I flew up to Newark all the way from Winston-Salem, NC to get the car with my 4 year old Son so it was a big adventure for both of us. His first time on an airplane, so he had a blast, as did I driving a Ram Air car for the first time for 10 hours on the way home.
Look for some basic modifications coming soon! Nothing radical. I don't want to mollest this nice SS too badly. Probably some pictures with my kids soon too...
Green97SS 12-20-2004, 12:19 AM Hey, I'm glad to hear you made it back home without any unexpected "adventures" :-) Just in case I was "standing by" on my cell phone on Sat. night.
Enjoy your ride, I might have found my new one, will see what happens on Monday.
Hotwire 12-22-2004, 11:29 AM I understand you flying for this deal! I'm in Summerfield, north of Greensboro looking for a 94-95 f-body as well. got rid of my 89 s-10 lt4 conversion and have missed the hell out of it, looking to get back to something w/ grunt!
If you need help turning a wrench on that thing, drop me a pm.
