ignition module and testing

Hello,

I have a '94 Camaro (3.4L, automatic, ~110K miles) pretty stock. I have searched on this, with no luck, BTW. :)

i have an intermittant miss. it comes and goes, drive to drive. new plug wires (parts store, nothing great).

i have a repair manual from a parts store (no factory manual, etc); it does not say much about how to check the ignition module out. i have tossed a new coil pack on there (i think i have it narrowed down to one cylinder which is misfiring via slightly intermittant spark) to no avail.

so i was hoping someone might have a procedure and specs for testing the module (as this is intermittant, i dont know that a bench test at a parts store, etc, would help much).

i might also toss some better wires on, just for fun (though the wires are new, ohm out fine and dont give me a light show). of the wires out there for 40 bucks or under, what do you like? do Taylor High Energy wires work alright (longevity and noise suppression are sought). i have been lookin at FTPP.

i would appreciate any thoughts on anything related.
many thanks!

i have a mis as well...although mines quite a bit worse (three cylinders totally out lol) i replaced my coils and while i had them off i just took my modual to napa and had them test it....and it came out fine...and it was free so thats what i would suggest. for the wires i would suggest msd..they are around 50 and they are top of the line.
