Supercharging suggestions

After the holidays my engine is being pulled out to be rebuilt. I was looking to just do the bottom end but i cant find a kit for just that. Anyway, upon reassembly, the heads will be port and polished along with the upper and lower intake, it will have headers, matched throttle body and a more aggressive cam (not sure what 1 yet). Anway, I plan to supercharge the engine. I know they dont make kits for my car, so i figure ill do a custom job. I need to find a suitable supercharger first though. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also tell me anything else you guys think i should do. And no "get a v8" comments lol :D

**suspension and drivetrain work will also be done**

there is a supercharger for our cars, its called a powerdyne. you can get them at lmperformance.com. and costs $3,800. but you can get the better performacne gains from a 85 or 100 shot. you should consider NOS because you said you are rebuilding your engine and you are putting in diffrent internals.

Yea actually now that you said that i would save myself a bunch of money by doing that. Point taken lol

Lets say i wanna run a..say 75-100 shot. What internals are the ones i should worry about the most, and what are the ones that will do the job stock, but would be a good idea to get stronger ones say later on down the road?

worry about the pistons, however you will be able to run a 75 shot fine, a 100 would be pushing the limits on a 3.8L

its a 3.4L lol. Anyway, even with forged crank, rods and pistons, along with ported upper and lower intake, heads, tb and a cam, would a 100 still be pushing it?

Hi sorry what year is your car? there is a kit for the 3.4l V6 out there made by RSM racing check it out.yeah .. making 200HP at the wheels

you "could" safely run more than a 100 shot with a 3.4L with better internals, jerrico ran a 125 (i think) shot and warped his heads, but he was not using head studs so the head bolts stretched and let the heads flex

and josh is supposedly running a large ammount of crack, but ive never heard any of his times or troubles

your stock crank and rods should be able to take a 100 shot, its mainly the pistons are the biggest thing to worry about

The car made 200 hp at the wheels at lhe last test, New fuel injectors have been added 24lbs and the new exhaust has also been added the car has much more power than the last test next dyno in the the spring will let you know how the car turns out

The 3.4 has a cast nodjular iron crank (like the LT1)and forged rods form the factory.
The stock rods are hard but not super hard like tool steel but there up there.
