sub frame connectors

Can you install these on the ground, or does the car need to be in the air? Is it poss to install wrong, meaning, the car on being straight?

I installed Jegsters bolt on(from JEGS), in my driveway. I did jack up one side of the car that I was working on with jack stands. They can only go on correctly. If you try to place them wrong, it just won't line up. (On my 94TA).

For SFCs to be installed correctly, the car neesd to be under load. Meaning under its own weight on a level surface. A lift in a shop is perfect :)

By a lift, you are talking about a drive-on lift. With the bolt on, are they just bolt on like it says, or do you have to remove something and "share" the hole?

If you are going to get SFC's have them welded on. Bolt on ones are a waste of money in my opinion.

I have bolt ons and I love them. The difference in the car is night and day.

Sorry about the hijack, but did your bolt on connectors eliminate any dash squeaking or is it better to weld them on?

You may love those bolt on SFC's now, but given time they will start getting loose. And then you will have the same flex :cry: as before.

You can weld your bolt ons on :), many have done it.

I have the Jegster bolt on sub frame connectors, After installing them myself, I went to a muffler shop, had them welded for $20.00. You'll notice the car will be much stiffer on bumps.
