Supposed to be in the high 40's tonight...probabyl in the mid to low 50's while we're at the track.
Thinking of heading down there, but don't have drag radials right now. I'm thinking about riding across town and picking up my dad's ET streets to run on...but I hate how those things feel at 100 mph. I think my roomate is interested in going as well...hopefully he'll pick up a 12 second time slip tonight.
Anybody else considering going tonight?

I was thinking about it but wanted to have my line lock kit installed before I went. I just got it around 7 pm last night, and have to go to work in about an hour (should of worked on that last night/this morning instead of studying). May head out there but will probably want to come home and start working on installing this. About how long does it take?

If you follow the instructions, it should take you about 2 hours or so...I assume you have the SLP sytem. The most tedious part of the install is bleeding the brakes. I suggest you bleed them when you're done, and then bleed them again the next day. The few people I know who have done this install (including myself) have managed to somehow have air in the system after bleeding it.

Go for it...I bet it'll be faster than some of the stuff out there. Did you need to borrow a helmet?

I'm thinking about it... I just got out of work tonight... I will be likely going next week, we are working on a v6 shootout.
I'd have to setup my car but I will likley blow it off and do something with the girl tonight.

Well, looks like I'll be out there tonight on street tires....should make for some slippery fun.
I'm expecting probably a 12.90 @ like 113 LOL......
I'll post up later.

Usual track conditions...pretty damn slippery.
Best run was a 12.75 @ 112....not even gonna talk about 60' times tonight.
Oh, I was on normal tires, not drag radials.
On the last group of cars from lanes 1 & 2, a car leaked coolant all the way down the left lane. So they cleaned up as much as they could and then shut down the left lane. About 5 cars later in the right lane approximately 11 pm already, another car broke and leaked something down the track. They only cleaned up the burnout box and the starting tree area. Well what do you know, the very next car down the track, I believe it was an 11 second mustang, lost it and hit the wall. Pretty sh*tty if you ask me. They shouldn't have been so lazy, and just burnt it off the rest of the track...or just closed the track down considering there were only about 5 cars left to run.
I was pretty dissapointed when I saw that...negligence at its finest. :(

i was out there also, my best was a 12.60@119.74 mph (needless to say, i got NO traction). that was my best mph to date though, thanks to the nice cool air.

There was a teal LT1 pulling 1.4x short times and clicked off a 10.90. LT1 with a cam, headers, N20 and suspension. You might want to work on suspension setup to reduces the ETs.
