There was a nice 05 GTO poster, double sided, that was inside the HR mag this month!
One side has the backside of a black GTO to show off its new rear defuser and dual side exhaust. It seems GM doubled the size of the engine displacement because the "6.0" looks like it takes up the whole right side!!
Other side was of a red GTO with hoodscoops and the new optional body kit, which looks a little...well...ricerific. But it does come with the recessed grill, gfx, and a high rise wing with Corsa tipped exhaust which looked killer. The wing with front and rear facia looked a little odd on the car. Id rather just get the recessed grill with the regular body.
They said 0-60 would be 4.6 sec, which is a BIG drop off the 5.3 from last year.
IMO, the good looking GTO is now much better for this year....just wish they changed the rims and added agressive fender flares
there is also some jazz about getting a new mustang into the 12's....but as you know I already ripped them out :D
It seems as if this Mustang is a different Mustang then the one JDM had. This one was run at Milan, and it did 12's...but it looks like it got WAY more then just "bolt ons". Full suspension upgrade, brake upgrade, exhaust work, and slicks.
