I've got a factory bled slave/master assembly.

I cannot get the master cylinder onto the firewall and get the u-bolt into the holes. It just will not fit. Do I have to take the brake booster out or something?

No you dont have to take it out.Check if you have some wiring in the way. They usually go in with a little fighting. I have replaced them before, but really never had any proplems.

Re: How the **** do you install clutch master cylinder?!

it will fit trust me you just have to have the right angle of attack
its kinda like spark plugs you have to hold it at the right angle and it will just slide in then you ned one of your good buds to hold it there and make very slight movements while you get everything lined up
ohh and dont try to force it in too hard when you have it lined up right youl know it and it helps to be directly over the spot (laying on the engine)
but good luck i know its a PITA but youll get it

Is the master cylinder resevoir (the thing with the cap) supposed to go behind the brake booster or in front of it.

What was your technique on fighting that sucker in there? Should I attatch the slave or master first?

I'm going into battle once again then. I'll try that "layin on the motor" thing. If people would just make stuff easier to work on.....

That thing simply will just not go the **** in. I can't get it far enough to the right or far enough up.

I'm about to crucify this car!
