"built" 4.10 rear end for sale
Ok, this is about as beefy as you can get for a 10 bolt rear. It comes fully assembled with a Strange 4.10 ring and pinion, ***custom solid pinion spacer*** instead of that weak crush sleeve (often blamed as the weakest link in a 10 bolt) This isn't the soft Ratech one either, this is a Scott Koresky special, made out of high grade bearing steel. ARP studded main caps, brand new bearings and seals throughout, like new Auburn Pro posi, and a TA stud girdle. This rear end is set up for either a 3 or 4 channel setup, it comes in a 3 channel housing with the reluctor ring on the ring gear, but also comes with 4 channel axles, allowing you to use whatever setup your car comes with. This rear end is built to be strong, and is definitely better than just changing your gears. This rear end was assembled by none other than our very own Scott Koresky aka 1BAD86Z, and has not been installed in a car since the new posi, bearings, and solid spacer were added so you are basically getting a brand new rear end. Asking $550 or best, and you will pay more than that in parts alone to duplicate this setup. This is bolt in and go!

Yes, this is the rear end that came out of my car before I put a 9" in it. The stock zexel that was in there blew chunks, so we went through it completely. There's alot of good parts in this rear, and I will say that before the old zexel gave up the ghost it held up to plenty of 12-flat passes at the track, behind an M6 car to boot. The rear end was perfect when we took it apart, with the exception of the posi. Scott acquired a stronger Auburn, and went through the rear completely. The gears were still perfect, those strange gears are much stronger than OEM gears and will take a beating. Like I said he replaced all the bearings and seals, and added a solid pinion spacer. It was much beefier than the crush sleeve it replaced. ARP studs replaced the bolts holding the main caps on, and the TA stud girdle added further support. If he had the solid spacers made already, I would have put this rear back in my car without thinking twice about it, but at the time he didn't have it made yet.

It hasn't seen a hard track launch in almost a year, and even then there were only 4 or 5. Oddly enough the Zexel called it quits on 7 mile between Farmington and Merriman, IN THE RAIN on BFGoodrich G-force TA KDW's. Sticky tires by no means. I live in Livonia, the rear end is at Scott's house in Roseville, but I have access to several trucks I'm sure I can help you get this one to your house. I'd even be happy to help you put it in, I've done many of them. It might cost you some beer and pizza though
or perhaps taco bell... Anyways, is your old read end out of the car? I help you with the backing plates too.

I'm sure you could get him to part with one, they're sort of "limited production" at the moment. I have seen them and the material they are made of first hand, and they are worlds better than the ratech ones. Scott gets the bearing steel and custom machines them. Really nice pieces.

What mods would need to be made to make this rearend work in a 95 t/a that does not have traction control? Whats the best you can do on the price. I can pick it up. I live in monroe. Thanks, Bob Wright
