seems like the new mustang went over well with them but the vette was "just another vette" to them
i still don't see how these people gripe about these interiors
i must be blind because i think the c5 interior was absolutely awesome (one of the most comfortable i've ever sat in too)

Well, I agree with your first sentence completely. The new Mustang was an overall improvement in everything people look for, and it was still at a good price. The Corvette really isn't breaking any generation gap as far as I'm concerned.

Dude I just stopped reading those people's reviews, don't even bother looking in magazines for vette reviews, you'll get the same old crap.

Interesting. Car and Driver loved the C6.
It sounds like Edmunds compared pretty heavily against the previous cars in both reviews which would account for them liking the C6 but loving the new Mustang.

They got a 12.9 out of the Vette, and a 14.1 out of the Mustang in the 1/4. They suck at driving.
They probably went WOT without bringing the RPM's up. I also think their reviews are for the most part laughable.

The new C&D ran a c6 to a 12.6@114 so edmunds needs some driving classes

A 12.8 in the 1/4 isn't bad at all for the AUTO Vette, which that was. I thought that was pretty good. 12.6s or so oughta be cake for a well driven manual...
