I was wondering how i could go about connecting my new ipod to the Bose CD player in my 1995 Z28. It is the 5 speaker system, the CD player is gettin fussy with burnt CDs and i would love to have the Ipod in my car. I havent been aboe to find a easy cost effective way, but maybe you guys know somthing i dont...BTW i would like to keep the bose head unit since it sounds great. Is there some kind of adapter i could use to accomplish this??? Please Help

If you go to best buy they carry a car adapter kit that is a little docking station you drop the i-pod in. It has a built in FM modulator (wireless) to broadcast the sound to you stereo. Works like a charm for me.

http://www.neocaraudio.com/prod-ion.html This looks like a much better solution to me. I have and ipod and use a griffin itrip for fm modulation. It sounds ok but nothing like a direct connection. I have an aftermarket eclipse head unit so i dont have this option or i probably would've tried it out.

i'd go to best buy and get the fm modulator...it's only 20 bucks and you can use it with any sound device that has the 2.3mm jack for normal headphones. only one problems for all y'all pre 97 guys...you only have one cigarette lighter.
