0toinsanein5.4sec 11-24-2004, 12:07 AM Honestly it was the coolest commercial i have EVER seen and will ever see in my life. Basically it was a red GT sitting in the middle of the desert with a screen behind. On the screen or various video clips showing of the mustang throughout its history. but that isnt the important thing. What the GT is doing while it was sitting there is. For it was revving, yes revving the National Anthem   :usa: It was the coolest thing i have ever heard.

L.A. Z 11-24-2004, 01:03 AM Camaro NOW!
NOW !!!!
The Mustang is defining the American Revolution better than anything I have seen from Chevy.
CamaroRSguy 11-24-2004, 01:22 AM That makes two mustangs commercials that really impress me. I agree, the American Revolution is turning out to be more of an American Letdown. Yeah that C6 is cool. I can never afford it. The Cobalt SS is neat, not quite an SRT-4 though, and definately not going to trade in my camaro for it. I remember reading in GMHTP "the good stuff is on the way". Im waiting, but I only have so much patience and so much brand loyalty to a brand that doesn't seem to have much loyalty to its costumers.
Ude_lose 11-24-2004, 06:36 AM the year is 2005- and we are in the 12's

Gold_Rush 11-24-2004, 09:48 AM Classic i thought. I've only seen it once, and really loved it.

Amen to that.
I still like the Steve McQueen Mustang commercial the best, although the one mentioned in this thread is cool as well.

What is that... a 1995 Grand Prix with hood scoops??
Those are some pretty cool commercials

Thats what I was going to say. Current GTO's LOOKS are a big let down. And I will NOT buy one. But if it looked like the Woodward, I'd be all over it.
As of rightnow, I'm going over to Ford.com to price out a GT.

I was messing around and built one online.. MSRP was only 27k, about 6k less than an expected 05 GTO price  Easy pick on which one to buy.
The New Mustang now has a comparable back seat, which I found a definite plus for the new stang. It also actually has a useable trunk and the looks are a thousand times better than the mid 90's Grand Prix look alike styling of the GTO.. Only disappointment the Mustang hasis a lot less h.p. over the new GTO. But the Mustang does have a 5 speed auto now, But for the money saved (unless GM gives thousands off on the 05's) the choice woud e easy for which car i would choose.

After picking my options
2005 GT Deluxe Coupe 5-speed...$24370
Interior Upgrade (dont really need it)...$450
Wheel Locks...$50
Anti-Theft$...$255
17" Bright Wheels...$195
Destination...$625
I got $25,945
Not to bad. Its kind of tempting. But if I can get a NICE 5th gen for that price, I'll stick with Chevy. Right now I'm saving my money and should have a $10,000 down payment when I buy. I think I'm going to wait until I see the 5th gen to make my decision, but if its crap, the Mustang is looking better every day.

Guys, I'm not a fan of M*stang at all or F*rd for that matter but these guys know what they're doing, and if anything, I can appreciate an American car. This makes me really upset that Chevy/GM couldn't get their act together a little sooner to put out a Camaro to combat this sales beast. I've said it once and I"ll say it again, without a Camaro, there is no American Revolution.
GM take note, Ford knows what the hell they're doing.

Again I must say
Ford's really hitting them out of the park. I wish that was a Camaro commercial, oh well.

That was a great clip!
I know GM has stuff coming, but Ford is really doing some good stuff of their own right now. The '05 Mustang is certainly one of them.
