EGR removel

If you take all the egr stuff off a 98' LS1, will it run messed up or just throw codes??? :confused: :confused: :confused:

it won't run any differently, but it will throw a SES light.

anyone know where i can get EGR block off plates? I dont need the ones for the headers, but i do need the one for the intake and the one under the egr box or pump thats on the passanger side front of the motor.

I know they used to sell a pretty good kit on ebay with all 3 block off plates for the manifolds, and a rubber seal for the intake... not sure if it's still there.

these guys sale some egr block off plates to. I couldnt find the plates listed on ls1speedcom so i did a search and ended up buying from these guys instead.

lol they're on the exhaust page tucked between some catbacks and header bolts, but oh well. LOL

They are alot cheaper on LS1speedcom by the way, dangit!!
