Tire size for 17x8.5 rims

Just last week I bought some Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's that I was planning to put on my Z06 rims. Now I'm thinking about getting some C6 rims to replace my Z06 rims. But as far as I can tell they only make the 17 inch C6 rims in a 8.5 inch width. Will my 275/40/17 tires fit on 17x8.5 rims and look good? Any info or pics are appreciated. Oh and if they make 17x9 or 17x9.5 C6 rims let me know where!
