Bi-amping components?

I am running a set of PPi component speakers with tweeters on the dash powered by an alpine amp 30rms to each speaker. I think the mid bass is lacking a little, so I got to thinking. Can I bi-amp the set with the mid-bass off the alpine amp and the tweeters off of the headunits internal amp?

If I get a set of Bi-ampable crossovers would this even be a good idea?
I got the idea from the monsoon system which I hear blows, but I liked the idea. I could adjust midbass with the gain of the amp.

Mid bass won't be any better. If the components are getting the power they need, that's all the speaker really is capable of.

Bi-amping, for the most part, is to help bring down crossover related distortion.

I have a friend running Alpine SPX-177A's off of a 9835 HU power, and the mid-bass is very impressive.

I dropped the tweeters to the -3dB setting on the crossovers and moved the tweeters around a little bit to get rid of the harshness. Now I can turn it up a bit more and it sounds pretty damn good. With the sub back I like it, mabee I was just missing the bass that I didnt have while switching amplifiers
