OK, so ive got an 86 IROC with a 305 TPI and a 92 RS with a V6. the 86 is in pretty rough shape paint and interior wise, body's straight but paint of course sucks. the 92 is in pretty decent shape but the motor's pretty much shot and the clutch is bombed. id like to "consolidate" the cars if you take my meaning, just make one really good one out of the two. either i can swap the motor, trans, and suspension into the RS, or i can take the exterior stuff off the RS and do the IROC. Opinions? i'm leaning towards just taking out the motor in the 86 and rebuilding, and taking the exterior off the RS, putting it on the 86 and painting the whole schiznit. the thing is is that the 92 is nice enough to put a new motor in and go, but the price to do that would paint the IROC and get the interior fixed up. what do you guys think?

I say rebuilt the IROC and slap a nice paint job on it. Then sell the RS with the bad motor ..to make up for what you spent on the IROC. JMO

See ya

thats what i was thinking but then again if i do the IROC then i would take the gfx off the 92 and use those. so the RS would be essentially worth crap.

Part out the RS. Just take off what you need to fix up the IROC and then sell the rest here or on ebay or something. You can prolly get more money that way than sellin it with a blown up V6.

I know I could use a couple parts off of it ;)
