hey
is there a way to repair broken fiberglass ? my hood flew off while i was driving and i was hoping to be able to repair it , if anyone knows a good way , i dont care about looks just function

Yes, you can fix fiberglass. All you need is the glass, resin, and time. How big is the damage? I have seen fiberglass repair kits but they are so small you might not be able to use it. I get all my glass from a local boat builder when I need it.

the damage i want to fix is where it hinges to the hood hinge , it broke off on one side
ill probably put in hood pins now , but and ways , is that repairable ? and if so how do i do it ?

Did it rip the bolts out or the whole section that the hinge bolts too?
I don't really know how I would fix it if a whole chunk was tore out. I would have to study it for a while. Hood pins might be in order and convert it to a lift off hood.

If it riped off the hinges I wouldnt even try to repair it. As long as the damage is mainly to the underside of the hood just pin it, otherwise you will probably just have an oncore performance later on.

ya , i never done hood pins , is it just the two in the front and that keeps it down ? how much would this cost

If it is a lift off hood, you will need 4 pins.
You can look in Jegs for prices. They have pin kits.
