Wiring questions...???Heatmaker 11-12-2004, 10:03 PM Hello, I'm trying to wire up speedp gauge on my car... but I can't get a good signal off of the speed sensor in the Tranny.... is there a way I can tap into the Speed sensor at the PCM???? anyone know the wires???? madwolf 11-12-2004, 10:11 PM This really isn't advanced tech content, but it would help if you described exactly what sort of gauge are you trying to wire up? Stock, aftermarket? If aftermarket, what type? Is it configurable? Heatmaker 11-12-2004, 10:32 PM It's a digital speedometer that has a wire that needs to be affixed to the speed sensor on the transmission... for some reason I can't get a good signal... even with shielded cable. I was trying to see I I could directly route that wire to the speed sensor wire on the PCM... if there is one...??? I also was trying to see if maybe there is some sort of signal booster to use... to fix the issue as an alternate way... isntead of hacking up wires. madwolf 11-12-2004, 10:34 PM Yes there is, wire B8 on the black PCM connector.
