I'd like to spend a weekend pollishing up my 92 z28 wheels. How do I do this. I can't find a do it yourself site that explains how. Also, these wheels are the ones with the red inlays and I'd like get rid of the red. Thanks

JUST GET SOME (MR. GASKETS) GASKET RMOVER AND SPRAY IT ON.LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT 5-10 MINUTES AND SCRUB IT OFF, USE ONE OF THOSE S.O.S. PADS THAT HAVE THE YELLOW ON ONE SIDW AND THE GREEN ON THE OTHER AND THEN POLISH THEM.IT WILL TAKE THE CLEAR COAT AND THE PAINT OFF SO EITHER POLISH THEM REGULARLY OR CLEARCOAT THEM WHEN YOUR DONE.

yeah get the new mothers brand called (billet) its good stuff.you can also sand them down with some 30-400 grit sand paper and after that use some emory cloth and then polish . they will look 100% better. let me know how you like it.good luck

Do your self a favour and wear gloves, and avoid any cantact with strippers of those kinds on your skin. They work great but are cancer causing, dangerous chemicals, even when you get it on your skin by accident it is a weird tingly feeling that you just know can't be good.

Thanks for the tip blownyellow, and STAYBG. I've already started the process :D I'll let youy know if I have any more questions and I'll get you a few pics of the finished wheels. Thanks alot STAYBG.\
So far just having all the old clear off makes the wheels look millions of times better.
