Yes, it should bolt right up. 3-channel is for non-traction control cars, 4-channel is with traction control:cool:.

So a rear differential out of a traction controlled car won't go directly into a non-traction controlled car, and vice versa?

No prob:cool:.

Bill, the difference between an ABS only (3-channel) vs. a traction control car (4-channel) is that the reluctor ring is built onto the carrier of the 3-channel diff, whereas there is a reluctor ring on the end of each axle for a 4-channel setup. The conversion can be made, but it's a bit of work. Just find the one specific to what you need.....it's easier;).

Thanks for the info Pete. I have a buddy of mine who has a 94 Formula with a 3.73 rear in it and my 95 Z28 has what I believe is a 3.23 gear and he is willing to swap me straight across, but if I am going to go to the trouble of going into a rear differential, I am going to buy new gears and put them in my housing.

Thanks again for your information. It is much appreciated. :D

A 3 Channel ABS rear will work for either car. If you have TCS, you just need to put TCS axles and backing plates on the 3 channel rear and just plug the sensor hole on top of the pumpkin if it's missing.

Thanks again for the info. If I have to open up the differential for other than changing the fluid, I am going to put new gears in mine.
