Rmoving the LCA's?Myxtreme1 10-31-2004, 12:43 PM I will be pulling mine off this week and was wondering if anyone had any heads-ups for me. I believe the bolt is an 18mm or so but I can't seem to get a good setting on the head. Everything is perfectly placed in the way. Any suggestions will be much apprecited. Thanks! Red96Lt1 10-31-2004, 10:49 PM It's pretty easy, and yes I think it's 18 mm. I used a 1/2" drive socket and an 18" wrench. Not a bad job, kinda cramped for space with the tools though. madwolf 10-31-2004, 10:54 PM I used a 3/4 socket on the nut and an universal wrench to keep the bolt from moving. I think the 3/4 was a little big (although it worked fine) so 18mm should work. The LCAs shouldn't be bad at all. The problem is that the bolt/nut may be rusted and it will be hard to take it out so you might want to spray some wd40 on it the night before. Z-RATED94 11-01-2004, 01:21 AM What madwolf said. Spray some WD40 on the bolts at least a day in advance. It works. Cmr0z28 11-01-2004, 01:34 AM I recommend using PB Blaster. Even then I had to stand on the breaker bar to get the damn things loose. Remember, one side at a time.
