I have done some searching around on the board and finding some info on clutches. ONe route I was thinking of taking was the lt4 pressure plate and the mcleod single disc type set up.

Just wondering those of you who have had this setup think abou it.

Does it grab better/harder then stock?

How is driving in rush hour traffic with it?

Any other problems with it?

RIght now my car makes 317 hp rwhp aand aorund 330 tq . I dont plan to upgrade the car hp wise in the next year or more so would this setup be adequte for my hp. I do plan on racing it though.

THanks for any help

Jason

I bought an SLP Clutch Kit and once my car reached about 350rwhp NA I dislocated the clutch hub from the disk. So I resused the SLP PP with the Mcleod Performance disk. I then reached 397 rwhp NA and the clutch was still holding on. But I was no longer using drag radials when I went to the 397rwhp NA. I added a 150 shot and the first time I engaged the nitrous from a 60 mph roll, the clutch went bye bye. I am now going to try a Spec Stage 4 setup since it has solid hub. In your case, I think the mcleod would be a good setup. It is a very streetable setup.
