New Best at COFBA Day/Norwalk Oct 23rd.
I ran my best to date E/T, MPH, & 60 FT!!!! My previous best was at Ford vs GM Day August 1st at Thompson Dragway with a 12.80 at 108mph/ 1.87 60'!!!
That was the first time I had ever taken the "SS" out to the track. The only real performance mods done to the car are 4.10 gears,SLP Flow-Pac, Nitto's, No Cats, Suspension, Stock Motor,& Stock Clutch. I thought August 1st was a great day but Norwalk on the 23rd was absolutely awesome
!!!!!!
During the last 2 runs of the day, I ran a New Best of 12.66E/T at 109MPH w/1.74 60 FT and then I ran a 12.67E/T at 109MPH w/ 1.76 60FT to back that previous run up.
But the best part of the day was the last four runs I made, I pulled the tires
off the ground each of the last four times!!!!!!
At first I didn't believe it, but everybody at the track kept on coming up to me and telling me that I pulled the tires off the ground. Thank God my two friends had digital and video camera's, they have all the awesome action documented. I went home and looked at the footage and it is awesome!!!!
Everybody at the track and at home was amazed that the car hooks up that well with stock clutch and stock motor. All in All, I am pretty happy with the results!!!!!

Re: New Best at COFBA Day/Norwalk Oct 23rd.
those are some awesome times man. It looks like I won't be needing that 400, my gf doesn't want me going any bigger. So instead i'll either be turning the 355 into a 450 hp beast or dropping a 383 kit into it and going for 500 hp. Either way I hope to run high 11's to low 12's next year NA when the car finally comes out of the garage. Hopefully we'll get to meet up sometime. Already pulled my engine and tranny out on tuesday. Time to start all the work.
