How much to rebuild a turbo???

I am looking at a turbo system for an LT1, its got a T-60 turbo that has play in the shaft and needs a rebuild. How much would a rebuild normally cost and where could I get it rebuilt?

Would you be up for rebuilding it yourself? Turbochargers are extremely simple devices and can be rebuilt with basic tools (a few wrenches and a pair of snap ring pliers) in well under an hour. Literally, if you can change your oil and oil filter, you can rebuild a T4 turbo. A complete rebuild kit is anywhere from $50 to $125 - I get mine from Limit Engineering (John Craig).

Yeah I think I might be able to handle that, my dad owns a machine shop and I have worked there for like 10 years, so I should be good enough with a wrench to do that :D . Thanks a lot man, I will look into that.
